1. I have a son-in-law now, Jay. I think he’s the cat’s ass! I love how he looks at my daughter. It makes me know they were meant to be together.

2. I am an Edmonton Oilers hockey fanatic. We have season tickets. We buy them each year rather than going on a vacation.

3. I rarely answer the phone at home. If it’s the kids or huby calling, I will ALWAYS answer it. If it’s my Mom, I will USUALLY answer it. If it’s my in-laws, I will RARELY answer it.

4. I am seriously considering getting a dog. Even though until September (when Sarah & Jay move back to her cond0), I have 4 cats here!

5. There is no one on this earth who can understand how overheated I am 90% of the time. I’m this way almost 24/7 no matter what the weather. I will sweat running down my back, and my face will just be dripping. It’s horrid, and it’s disgusting! I can’t wait for these whoremoans to settle down, and let me be “normal”.

6. I watch way too much reality TV. It’s seriously hard to find the time to fit them all in! No TIVO here!

7. I’ve become completely un-domestic since the kids moved out of the house a year and a half ago!

1. My left hand pinky finger is CROOKED! I don’t mean just a little bit, I mean it’s double jointed and bends straight back from the knuckle. I can’t even straighten it out to look normal if I tried. It grosses people out!

2. I am completely anal in the way that I read things in the morning. I must read them in a specific order, NO MATTER what. I read in this order, my email, My Blogroll, Flickr, My work email, Vox, Spector (hockey trade rumours), The Edmonton Sun Sports, The Edmonton Journal Sports, Pay Per Post, Loud Launch. And that’s it!

3. I used to be super meticulous about my house. So much so, that I hated it when my kids would have friends over, and they would mess it up! Over the years I got less fussy, and less picky, and now I just don’t let anyone in my house because it’s not clean! heh

4. I am a crazy magnet. I always have been. If there’s a fruit-loop in the crowd, he will instantly notice me, and either seek me out and strike up a conversation, or begin to follow me around. Going to the local fair with all the carnies… is not a good time!

5. I have a very deep voice. 17 years of smoking did not help it much. Lots of people think I’m a guy when I answer the phone. This made me horribly self-conscious when I was a kid. Now I just tell them to fuck off!.

6. I hate crowds, and noise. Unless I’m at an Oilers’ game!

I completely didn’t care about dieting, or exercising! (not that this is a good thing)

When we are at my Mom’s on Christmas eve, we have steak and lobster now, instead of a turkey dinner. It’s great and takes 10 minutes to clean up instead of an hour!

We open gifts Christmas eve, but when the kids were young, the Santa gifts and stockings were there for Christmas day.

Yes, many times, on school field trips. Usually with an autistic child that completely freaks out by the whole experience. Add to that, the fact that I have to keep my eyes shut, so that I don’t get motion sickness, it’s just not a good time!

Yes..

22. Some things you are excited about?
I’m excited about going in to Sarah’s place to paint the end of the condo that Ben used to occupy. We’re going to do that bedroom, hall and bathroom, so then here entire place will have been repainted. I’m also excited about the Oilers! I’m excited about how things are turning around for Ben these days too!

23. What is your favorite flavor of JELLO?
I lived in residence for 2 years. I hate JELLO!! We used to tack it up on the bulletin board, because it would be so rubbery!

I just have my car remote, and my FOB for work.

In my wallet. Except loonies and twoonies, which I keep in my Jeep for car washing.

Probably at some figure skating competition meeting about 10 years ago, because I’d rather go through #15 again, than speak in public. It’s my biggest DREAD!

This is Canada! I have a variety! I’ll probably be wearing my black wool pant coat most of the time though.
