I’ve watched a couple of movies while I’ve been home sick this week. Two that I was really looking forward to seeing. First I watched “You, Me and Dupree.” I love Kate Hudson, so I thought this would be great. It was okay, but not near as good as I thought! Yesterday, I watched “The Devil Wears Prada”. I really enjoyed this movie! Meryl Streep was a hoot!

I have absolutely ZERO energy this weekend, and as a result, I’ve been watching a lot of movies. So far, I’ve watched “Monster In Law”, “Hostage”, “Crash” and “Twisted”. I’ll see how many more I can fit in between loads of laundry. Hubby has no energy either, so it must be that flu we’ve been fighting. We didn’t even feel like going to the Oilers game last night, so we gave Ben the tickets. As a result it was a good thing, because it was a LOUSY game.

I should clean the house a bit, but I’m not seeing that happening.

Hubby and I watched this movie today, and it was AWESOME!! No wonder it cleaned up at the academy awards. That has to be one of the best movies I’ve seen in years!!! Loved, loved, loved it!!!!

Sarah and I watched Phantom of the Opera the other day. I found about the first half (it’s 2 hours and 20 minutes long) of it rather draggy, but the last half was very good! I loved Christine (Emmy Rossum), and Raoul (Patrick Wilson), but the voice of the Phantom (Gerard Butler) reminded me so much of that of the lead singer of one of my favorite bands, Great Big Sea. It freaked me right out!

I got the big computer back, and it’s fine now, but I also discovered that my MONITOR is dead, so I put an old one on there. It will be fine for now, as it’s just the kids that use it anyways.

May you be blessed with 3 ADHD children, and a wife who goes into post-partum depression, so we may all watch how you, the wiz that “knows the history of psyc*hiatry” fixes all of that!!!

Sarah and I watched the “Intolerable Cruelty” DVD yesterday, and that was an INTOLERABLE MOVIE! Blech, pitewie, hmmph! George Clooney should have stayed in the emergency room, as he’s turned into a total dork since he hit the big screen!!

We also watched “Alex and Emma” yesterday, and we liked that one fairly well. We watched “Le Divorce” last weekend, and while we didn’t mind it, we found it a bit “odd”! But overall, we enjoyed both movies, as Kate Hudson is a sweetie.
