My Motto

I have to do before-school-care this morning for one of the other ladies. Pfffft. Can you just imagine how happy I am about that?

In other good news, I broke the crown off my tooth (the one beside my 2 front teeth). Because I’m subbing in child-care, I can’t call in, and go to the dentist (not that I’m going to get in any time soon)! SO I get to go to work and keep my mouth shut all the live long day (which will NEVER happen), or risk everyone seeing that I now resemble the mother of the banjo playing dude from Deliverance! Accckkkk!

PMS Extraordinaire!

I couldn’t decide today if I was fighting off or coming down with the pukey flu that most of the kids in our class have had, or if I was just in full PMS mode. Judging by my shortened patience belly ache, headache and sleepless night I determined that it was indeed PMS. Grrr

To top off my marvellous good humour, Sarah had invited Jay out to dinner tonight. Which on a good day may be okay, but today….. NOT SO MUCH. Especially since I wasn’t consulted. When I called her to ask about it, she said, “Well I told Dad!” I told her that did whoopy shit, because he was on a plane coming home from Ft. McMurray! Hmmph! To make me even more pissy, if that indeed was possible, she had gone shopping all day, so she had not done a THING in this house, including cleaning up the last of her Christmas baking frenzy of last night! The hell??!!! So I threw some supper together, with instructions for her to finish it, and I disappeared to my room….. for everyone’s safety!

I decided today that I’m going to have a conversation with God or Mother Nature, or Dr. Seuss or someone. Why is it that when a woman has her last baby, she can’t just push out the baby, and then the placenta, followed by her goddamn fucking UTERUS!! All it does is cause no end of fuckedupedness for the duration of our lives!

Power Surge

Hubby cooked a big BBQ’d roast dinner, and I just finished all the dishes. I am so hot and sweaty that I’m sitting here in my nightie on my bed, with the window right behind me opened and my fan on. For the love of GAWD, it’s 45 degrees outside, and about 215 degrees in my skin!
