On the Move

Well today was a pretty emotional day for me. Not in the blubbering, puddle of goo way, But, just a bit teary if I thought too long and hard about the fact that my 21 year old “baby” boy and his fiance have moved to another province, 10 hours away, instead of the usual 20 minutes that he’s always been. I’m excited for them, and their new start in a beautiful city, but It will be different not seeing them every Sunday night at family dinners!

In happy news, I have the house to myself for the whole weekend, because hubby and his Dad are driving a trailer down with all their furniture. Also, this is the start of Spring Break for me, so a week off! WOOT! And…. currently the Oilers are winning in the third period! As a side note: Peter Foresburg is a big old whiney baby! Every time the Oilers hit him, he whines and complains and carries on! Suck it up buttercup!

Another random thought… I’ve become addicted to Twitter!

LMAO….a weekend alone, huh? That explains why you’re up so late drinking, watching the game and twittering! :)

10 hours away..wow..another milestone. I wish them the best and I hope you have a KILLER spring break!

I know the feelings you’re having. When my son moved away for the first time, I stood in the middle of the cul du sac, blubbering like a baby.
Wishing Ben and Jess the best of luck!

I’m cheering for your Oilers! My Canucks fell out of a playoff spot after last night’s horrible game.

Have a good weekend, and enjoy your Spring break!

Spring break isn’t for a few more weeks for me. Enjoy yourself!
