My Beautiful New 2005 Jeep Liberty

We had another blizzard here today, so the roads were a big old mess, but I got her home…. FILTHY! grrrrrr

We made a stop out at my old deceased car to empty it out, and then headed out to pick up my car. They had the mud flaps on and the touch ups done, and then we had to go up and sign the papers. The car loan is in MY name!! I’m 47 years old, and I’ve never had a LOAN! Consequently I have NO CREDIT! I really never knew that as we’ve had joint mortgages on 4 different houses, and have perfect credit rating. Unfortunately hubby is the only one that gets credit for our credit so to speak! I never knew that until I went with Sarah to apply for her student line of credit when she started University and was moving away. I couldn’t even co-sign for her!!! Hubby had to. I was mortified, and PISSED off!!! It’s largely due to the fact that my yearly income is not very much because we don’t work all year, and I only get paid for the days we work. That amounts to only 6 hours/day, about 9 months of the year. I joked to the finance guy, that Tim died and I had no credit, I could always get my kids to cosign! heh! So anyway, I’m finally a grown up!

I made a stop over at the mall on my way home to pick hubby up a few clothes that he will need for his business trip. Right now he’s in bed, feeling very sick with the flu, so he best make a speedy recovery, as he leaves on Monday for Ft. Mac until Saturday.
