My Beautiful New 2005 Jeep Liberty

In keeping with our tradition of taking no time whatsoever to make up our minds about purchases, we headed out of town in a big-ass blizzard, to our favorite car dealer, and looked at the leaseback Libertys (or baby Jeeps as I prefer to call them), fell in love with this one!! Took the “twin” to it for a test drive (didn’t want to dirty “mine”) in the blizzard, LOVED it and the fact that I wasn’t sliding, skidding, and dragging ass around in the snow, and we came back and made the deal! It’s a beautiful pearl white (and I swore I’d never own ANOTHER white car, as we’ve had 4 over the years, along with 2 white houses, 2 white cats, and a white and black dog!) BUT this one is sooooooo purty with all the shiney chrome trim. The interior is grey and lovely, and I can’t wait to drive it out of the showroom! It only has 26,667 km on it, so it looks, and smells and feels like new!

I pick it up tomorrow afternoon, so whoo hoo! I’m beyond excited, and relieved to not have to drive that little shitcan car of mine anymore in another Canadian winter. Even if this winter was a very mild one.

ha! coincidence! my brother’s getting his new jeep in 2 weeks (silver, with a 2.8 diesel engine). funny that this car is still called “cherokee” over here (and not “liberty”). first he wanted again the grand cherokee - but the new model is almost too huge for our narrow streets and tiny parking lots! LOL

congrats! =)
