The NERVE!
I bid on an item on EBay, and was promptly outbid. No big deal, I had bid as high as I was willing to go. Well 2 days later, I get an email from the seller, telling me that if I really wanted the item, I was only 50 cents away from highest bid, because it was her. I looked back in the bid history of the item, and sure enough!! She’d been bidding her own item up!!! I’ve bid on a few of her items, but as soon as all is said and done and all the auctions are over, I’m turning her ass in! What a dipshit!

OK, which is worse? Bidding on your own auctions to drive up the price, or actually telling the other bidder?? And then to expect them to pay the higher price??

What a complete idiot! I can’t believe she actually told you she was bidding. I think I have had that happen a couple of times - all of sudden something that I had bid on is at the last 20 minutes goes up, up and then the person stops. Drives me nuts!
another thing some sellers do is get their friends to bid to get the price higher. once i thought sumthin was funny, and i looked on bid history, and these two chicks were bidding on each others’ stuff.
