January: Ben turned 18. He celebrated by going to a strip joint. I painted the laundry room and re-tiled it. It was a very cold month.
February: Ben’s voice finally started to change, and he’s finally growing! I got my new laptop for Valentines!
March: Easter was celebrated and we finally met Jess who visited here for 2 weeks.
April: Sarah turned 22. I scored Keith Urban tickets for her and Jay. Both kids finished their school years. Sarah finished her 4th year of nursing. Sarah bought a brand new Ford Escape. Ben bought a 2003 Ford Explorer truck. I turned 47 years old.
May: Smudge caught a mouse in the house and brought it to me. I haven’t been the same since. Ben had 4 wisdome teeth removed. Jess was here from BC again for her cousin’s graduation. I participated in my 3rd Relay for Life. Sarah took trips to Mexico, and to New York. Ben flew to Kelowna for Jess’s Graduation.
June:We proudly attended Sarah’s University Convocation and watched her accept her BScN. I found out that I got the job in the Early Entry Preschool program that I wanted for next school year. I painted the whole classroom BY MYSELF! I had to say goodbye to Tony after working with him for 7 years.
July: I did some painting outside. After 301 days the NHL players strike ended. Sarah got hired at the Children’s hospital, and was thrilled!!
