Rawk On Esks!

Ray-11.27.jpg The 2005 Grey Cup game was awesome! Very exciting! Right down to double overtime! The Eskimos won!! We had 10 people out to watch the game. Just hubby’s folks, Ben and 3 of his buddies, Sarah, Jay and Adam. I went for groceries first thing this morning, came home and made a huge lasagna to throw in the oven later. Hubby made hot wings, and we put out a lot of yummy munchies to eat during the game, and then we had lasagna near the end of the game. We had pumpkin swirl cheesecake for desert. We had a good time. I also got a lot of cleaning and some of the laundry done before everyone got here.

I was supposed to go to a PD thing tomorrow, but I’ve decide to not bother. I’ll take hubby out to the airport instead, and then I think I’ll head into the city to try and wrap up my Christmas shopping, or at least the bulk of it. Hubby will be gone for a week, so that will be rather “strange”.

It was a good game and I’m glad the Esks won (even though they knocked out the Lions).

A week without the hubby? Ah the freedom. Chick flicks and TV without anyone complaining. Ice cream for dinner - and dessert ;) No accountability for a few days. *sigh* I think it’s about time mine went away for a few days. lol
