The Push Begins
After my lazy weekend, I busted my buns today! I cleaned both upstairs bathrooms. Did 6 months worth of filing. Then I shampooed the carpet in our bedroom, hallways, stairway (torture) and entryway. I hate doing the stairway. It’s so awkward, and my machine is a bit too big to be able to do a very great job. If it’s not good, I’ll have to break down and hire someone to do the stairway.
I vacuumed and dusted the rest of the main floor, and then washed all the hardwood. I also did copious quantities of laundry. By the time I was finished, I could hardly straighten up. My back really seizes up when I do a lot of work in that kind of semi bent-over position, because I’m so tall. I finally had a bit of lunch, put the rooms back together, watered the outside flowers, and then had a much-needed lovely hot shower. Then I phoned hubby and asked him to pick up dinner, because I took some Celebrex, and am laying down to see if my back will loosen. You know it sucks to get old and rickety!
Tomorrow’s task is the basement, and hopefully the garage. I need to make a hair and eyebrow appointment for later in the week too. I have to ship all that Ebay shit, clean the inside of my car, go shopping for some new slacks for school, and lord knows what else that I’ve been putting off all summer! *w*
Sucks to be a procrastinator! I wonder if I can get in shape and lose 20 pounds by Monday like I had planned for the summer??!!
