Man Shopping
No… I didn’t go shopping for a new man, however interesting that might be, as I imagine I’m stuck with this one after this many years, HOWEVER, I went shopping for clothes for the man, while he went golfing with Ben, his brother, and our nephew Adam. Pfffttt! (something wrong with this picture??)
I got him 2 new suits, a sport jacket, pair of slacks, several ties, 2 pairs of golf shorts, and new dress socks. The slacks are being altered and all will be ready for HIM to pick up tomorrow. Fortunately we always buy his clothes at the same store, so they could do the alterations without him. The main reason I do his shopping, is because he’s colorblind, and I figure I’m like his seeing eye dog for the colorblind. When he starts this new job, he will be travelling a lot. I’m going to color code his clothes so he doesn’t go off to a meeting “dressed funny”…. you know us wives get blamed for that TOO!
One thing I discovered today, is that we sure get a lot of fabric for our buck now that we’ve let ourselves get old and fat!
My hubby is colorblind too. I used to laugh when he would get all dressed up in his suit with one black sock and one maroon one.
It’s interesting that men are usually the colorblind ones and the genes are passed down from the mother
