I had a perfectly lovely day planned with a friend today, and was just sitting on the bed after painting my toenails early this morning when the phone rang. It was my Mom. She wanted to know if I had my car to day, and if so, could I come down and drive her to the clinic. I aksed why, and she said she had fallen and hurt her ankle really badly, and then she started to cry. My mother NEVER cries. Anyways, I quickly had to cancel my plans *sniff*, get dressed, pack an overnight bag, and head off down to Mom’s. Turns out it was just a bad sprain. I took her home, and made sure she had groceries, and everything else she needed, visited the afternoon, and then came home tonight.

I was hoping that my cancelled plans could just be delayed to tomorrow, but now my FRIEND has a family emergency, so it’s no go, and now my holidays are nearly finished. Pffffft!

Also today, Sarah was a wreck, because she had a day from hell too! Ended with her car breaking down, and having to be towed to our mechanic! AGGHHHH!
