Sarah turns 22 on Saturday! I was at quite a loss as to what to get her. She mentioned wanting Keith Ur*ban tickets casually, but I thought, “Yeah right kid, the concert is in 3 days.” So yesterday I started browsing around EBay, and I scored a pair of tickets, fifth row, on the floor!! They were ticketfast tickets, so I had them printed off, in my hands within 30 minutes of buying the tickets!! Gotta love technology. I didn’t even get that badly ripped off! I paid less than $25 extra for each one, so I’m thrilled!! But…. not as much as Sarah was! She can’t wait to tell Jay, as he’s the real true blue country fan, like me. Keith Urban is so HOT though, that even Sarah loves him! (She’s a punk rock fan).

In other news, we met Ben’s girlfriend, Jess last night. She’s a real sweetie. Very smiley, quick to laugh, and so cute. She’s a shortie. She comes up to Ben’s armpit (poor girl), so Ben likes to tease her about that. She lives in BC, and is here visiting her cousin (who dates Ben’s best friend). She goes back this weekend. Ben will be going to BC with the cousin and aunt, mid-May, for Jess’s graduation. He and I will have to go very soon to rent him a tux or a suit to wear. At school’s end, Jess will be moving here to live with her cousin. She plans on attending the same university as Sarah after working for one year.
