Happy Halloween
That means pretty much nothing to me. Halloween was lots of fun as a kid, simply because it was the one time of year we got to eat extra candy! As we were older, it was fun, because we’d tour around neighboring farms, and play silly tricks. BUT, it’s never been a big deal here in Canada overall.
This year, no Jack 0′Lantern, no decorations, no nothing at all (as Nick would say). Hubby will hand out candy, as this is one of the first years he’s been around t do so. Usually he’s at work. He’s off picking up a few groceries, and he’s going to BBQ a steak dinner, he’s picking up my all time creepiest movie ever, “The Birds”, and Sarah and I will watch that once she rises. Ben works, so that’s all that’s going on around here pretty much!

Happy Halloween to you too, Bev
I decorated our entrance door a bit for the neighbourhood kids, but that’s about it this year. I’m not into it like I usually am. Of course I was stupid enough to buy about 300 pieces of candy and I think i’m probably expecting maybe 30 kids…. what the hell was I thinking? rofl.
Enjoy your family time today.
(I LOVE The Birds)
Hope you got some sleep!!
Hope you had a great halloween Bev. It’s a pretty big deal in this part of Canada, well, in my neighbourhood anyway. Every other house on the block has a temporary cemetery on their lawns (or had, I noticed that they were being dismantled tonight). We had candy for 120 kids and ended up with 91 so it was a slow night for us!
