Beautiful Saturday

The weather is fantastic today! I got an early start to the day. Ran into the city to get some dirt for my “flower bed expansion”, did some other errands, and got all twisted up in road detours and construction. BLEH!

I got home and dumped all the dirt in and shovelled it around and planted 10 big geraniums in there. I consider my part of the project finished. Ben wants to put some stone edging along it, and I want them to fill it up with mulch, but otherwise it’s a done deal.

Yesterday’s last day of school was fairly crazy of course. It seems that we will not be getting the little boy that doesn’t speak next year. He will go to a neighboring school that has full kindergarten programs. Then if they’re still around the next year, he will be in our program. It’s all about money and funding. Not about what’s best for this little boy.

Oh well….2 days of painting, and I’m DONE!

It’s a shame that it’s all about money and not about what a child needs, eh? Any child with special needs (not to mention those without) would be blessed to have someone like you working with them. Hope things go well for that little boy.

If I ever get the urge to start a garden (don’t hold your breathe), I’ll be e-mailing you a lot! lol.
Hugs,
