Linky Love

Love the new look! I have to say that LIME green was getting a bit old! hehehe

You’re going to be one hot momma!

I’m so amazed at your strength. You’ve been through so much!

I also think that all the hoopla over New Years’ Eve is a load of CRAP! Just another night in my world.

I certainly hope that the new year brings you answers to your health problems, and an attitude adjustment for that “husband” of yours!

Keep up the great work in getting yourself fit and healthy! You’ve done so well!

I hope the New Year is kinder to you and you have success in everything you take on in 2004.

You’ve done so many things to be so proud of this year!! Helping your Dad out, losing 50 pounds…..just to mention a few!!

Losing 76 pounds is an amazing accomplishment for the year I’d say! You’ve also moved into a brand new house! A year of many new beginnings!!

Robyn has NO idea how much her blog delights me! I just LMAO every day when I read her posts. She’s definitely a kindred spirit!!

I love hearing and seeing all the stories and pictures about the twins . They are adorable!! Makes me know I’m going to be a kick ass grandma one day.did I just SAY that?? Me a grandma?? ewww how did I get so OLD??

I’m so proud of you for taking control of your health! I know what a struggle it is! Next year I want to read that you’ve been smoke free for 6 months! *VBG* (Yeah I’m a nag….. TUFF!)

Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better!! Nice to start the New Year right!

I MISS Gina!!

WOW! You’ve had a year with some major changes, and you’ve handled it all so well! You done good chickie!

Theresa I can’t tell you how impressed I am with how well you’re doing in school. While working and raising kids, that’s not easy and you’re ACING it!!!

It would be wonderful if you started feeling like your old self again! Makes me realize how much we take good health for granted!

I will get MT up and running on your site if it takes me all YEAR!

Another Year Has Gone By

I guess now would be the time that I should write something deep and meaningful and insightful while reflecting on 2003. But I won’t. I’m sitting here trying to decide if overall this was a good year, or a bad year. I guess if I have to think this hard about it, it can’t have been too bad! *snort* But the same can be said, if I have to think this hard, it can’t have been too memorable either!

Because I can’t complete a coherent thought today, I’ll do like everyone else!

Off and About

I give up trying to sleep anymore today! Ben’s alarm went at 3:45 AM. He and 5 buddies are off to Jasper to go snowboarding in the mountains for 2 days. He went with a really good group of guys, or I would never have let him go. He and 2 of the other guys that are going, are all instructors here, so they get to ski for free (which is a $100 savings) and they also get their hotel room 1/2 off. They’re going to freeze their knuckles off though as it’s -21 Celsius this morning!

I just nicely got back to sleep when hubby’s alarm went off at 6:00. He just has 4 more days of work left at his current store.

Sarah’s alarm just went now at 7:00, as she’s off to work too. Yay for having the house to myself! Laundry is finished, and house is clean, so I’m not sure what I’ll do today.

Comments Fixed

I got the comments fixed, thanks to tips from Shelagh and Allison.

For those of you who frequent my forum. It’s still out of commission. I have tech support working on the problem. working now. All mods are kaputzky, but I’ll work on restoring them in the morning!

Sarah and I had a girls’ day. We watched Sound of Music (I got the DVD for Christmas), and then went to the Oilers game together, and from there, went to watch Ben’s soccer game. It’s colder than can be tonight! Brrrr…. my feet are still cold!

WTF?

Candi pointed out that you get a 404 when you try to post a comment here. I have no idea what’s up with that, as it was working yesterday, and not today. It was NOT working prior to upgrading, and still is NOT working after the upgrade. I haven’t done any changing to the design or anything so it’s very puzzling to me!

Email me if you have an answer to this!

Good News for the New Year!

Hubby just phoned with fantastic news! He will be getting transferred in the New Year. He will be moving from his current store which is on the very far North side of Edmonton (and we live in a small community 10 km outside of the city), making a 1.5 hour commute daily through the worst traffic areas in the city. He will be moving to the store on the south side, just 15 minutes from home in a very ritzyarea of Edmonton. It is going to save so much money on gas, as that Jeep of his is such a gas hog!!

A “Normal” Saturday

Seeing how hubby had to go to work (was supposed to be a day off), and Ben is at work, I guess I’ll actually attempt to do something today. I don’t have a great deal I want to accomplish, but I will do some laundry and tidying up around here (with Sarah’s help of course!)

Yesterday I was on the computer almost all day. When I was really into making graphics and things, several years ago, that was a common occurance. Now I don’t spend too many days that way any more. I was up to something. I bought Sarah her own domain, and set up gallery for her so she has a place to display her pictures she takes with her new camera. I’m going to install MT for her as well. I haven’t told her yet, as I’m waiting for it to resolve. She’s gonna be surprised! I’m also going to move her existing web page over, and redesign that as well.

Friday Five

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year? I can’t say I really had any big accomplishments this year, or none that leap to mind.

2. What was your biggest disappointment? That I finished off the year being lazy about exercising and diet. 2 things which I’ve been very good about for 3 years now.

3. What do you hope the new year brings? Happiness.

4. Will you be making any New Year’s resolutions? If yes, what will they be? Of course I will be. I will be resuming my healthy lifestyle after the holidays.

5. What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? Nothing. I hate it! We just stay home. We’re lucky to stay awake until midnight! Usually we watch it on the American channel so we can get it over with 2 hours early! LMAO
