Sarah and I watched ‘Pay It Forward’ today on pay per view, and I really enjoyed it!

Well it’s a gorgeous, sunny day finally, so I’m going to go workout, and then go do some catching up out in the yard.

School’s Out For Summer!!!

Last day of these dusty, moldy old books! WHOO HOOO! *sneeze*

2 more days of work!!

The students are gone. The parents are gone!! The tea parties in the library are done. I feel like the Walmart greeting lady, as I’m the first person people see when they come in the building. Somehow they feel compelled to stop and talk to me. I now have my workspace back. This is good! I have 8,669 books left to count!

3 days left to work!

The kids are finished school after today. So the next two days will be very peaceful at work. My kids were finished yesterday at noon. Oh joy.. the fun begins! Staying up til all hours of the night…. leaving mess all over the house for Mom to wake up to… grrrrr…sleeping until noon! Ugghhh… teenagers

Well I’m off to work, dressed in my grubs (sort of). I’m doing inventory in the library. We have over 12,000 books, and I’m in the process of counting and cleaning and repairing them, as I reorganize. What a dusty old mess! YECHHHH! Hopefully I finish the juvenile fiction section today. I got about half finished yesterday, and you get faster as you get a system going. One of the TA’s came to help me, and that slowed me down considerably! LOL I had a system of cleaning off a row of shelves and putting them on the cart, wheeling them over to my computer to be scanned in, dusting the books, and alphabetizing them properly as I went, wheeling them back and putting them back in the shelves. It was going pretty good. Once she came to help, she was doing the scanning, but getting the books all screwed up, so it was taking me three times as long to get them back on the shelf! It also took her forever to scan them!!! Hopefully she’s very busy with her kids today!

Been to computer hell and back AGAIN. Spent most of this evening catching up on my reads, and forums!

Yesterday, after my workout and a shower, Sarah and I went shopping. Many of my clothes are just way too big and sloppy now, so I went in to buy some new shorts for summer. I’m in between sizes right now (story of my life), so they still don’t fit exactly spiffy, but they’ll do for now!

Today’s weather is having a tough time deciding whether it’s going to be a nice day or not. Until I see that myself, I’m undecided as to what I should do today. I know I will workout. I know I will start some laundry. The undecided part is whether I will be inside doing some big time cleaning of my computer room, or if I will be outside weeding and fertilizing my flowers!
