So! I think I’m actually finally feeling like I’m over the worst of this darn bronchitis! How absolutely annoying! I haven’t had one single sick day all year, and now I’ve been sick, and practically in bed for the whole of Spring break! (I know, I’m whining, and in the big scheme of life, this is a very minor thing I had so many ambitious plans for spring cleaning, and workouts, etc. Oh well, it will still all be waiting for me later. I have managed to get a few things done, but not very darn much!

Hubby has been selected to go to California in May for a special project through work. I believe he is going down to train their diversity leaders (don’t ask). He is just gone May 1 and 2. He’s been hoping for a long time to get chosen, so he was pretty pumped about it! He’s also doing great in the weight loss department. He’s lost 35 pounds, is pretty well to goal, and managed to run 3 miles yesterday. He’s also lifting weights to get rid of his “man-boobs”. Trouble is… mine are turning into man boobs with the weight I’ve lost and the workouts I’ve been doing. Why can’t I hook a hose from my panties to my bra, and do a bit of fat transference?? I could suck some out of my thighs, put it into my boobs, and I’d be pretty well built!!! Sounds like a winner to me!

Sarah is having her 18th birthday party here on Saturday night. I told her it could be invite only, grade 12’s only, and no minors, as I wasn’t going to responsible for having under-age kids drinking in my house, was not going to make that choice for other parents. So… she’s got a list of 35-40 of her “closest” friends! God help my house! We will be home, but I think she believes we’re all going to lock ourselves in our bedroom for 12 hours while this party takes place! Ha! I only promised not to sing!
